Mike Werner - Managing Partner
Mike Werner joined Xecutive Advisory Partners as a Managing Partner in 2011 and leads business development efforts for the Xecutive Advisory Partners Management Company. He also provides leadership of our day-to-day operations in support of other team members involved in ongoing portfolio projects. Mike will take a lead role in later-stage due diligence efforts, and serves as the project manager on discovery consulting engagements with prospective portfolio companies.
Mike has worked in various roles with pharmaceutical, medical device and bio-tech/start-ups. He has managed large sales teams and driven major revenue increases in both early-stage and mature product companies. He led large organizational expansions Amylin Pharmaceuticals and restructuring processes throughout his career that led to increased operational efficiencies and improved market competitiveness. Mike has held senior management positions with multiple organizations where he created national training and development programs to accelerate the sales and marketing programs that drove market entry and revenue production.
Mike has worked closely with executive teams both as an employee and consultant to develop strategic business plans to expand existing lines of business and to launch new products and services. He has previously owned a Real Estate company where he completely overhauled the business and took it from a fourth tier player to a market leader, prior to selling the company in 2010.
Mike holds a BA in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University, and has completed Marketing Strategy, Accounting and Finance programs at the Wharton School of Business.
